LevelSender 5 External Antenna Cable Seal Kit Instructions

Instructions

1. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the three screws from the LevelSender top cover. You will reuse these later.



 

2. If you have an older style top cover (sold before August 2023), simply pull the top cover off the LevelSender and unscrew the antenna.



 

3. If you have a newer style top cover (has threads at the antenna opening), unscrew the nut from around the antenna and remove the nut, grommet and antenna. Pull the top cover off.



 

4. Take the cable from the antenna assembly and thread the clamping nut onto the cable as shown.



 

5. Thread the top cover onto the cable as shown. Ensure there is an o-ring on the bottom of the threads on the top cover.

Note:

If you have a newer style top cover, you can reuse it for this step. If you have an older style, use the top cover that came with the seal kit.



 

6. Line up the antenna cable and screw it onto the connection on the top of the LevelSender.



 

7. Lightly lubricate the o-ring around the top of the LevelSender, then push the top cover onto the LevelSender.



 

8. Take the two pieces of the split grommet and put them on either side of the cable at the connection to the LevelSender as shown.



 

9. Push the two pieces together and insert the bottom notched section into the opening around the antenna cable. The grommet should sit flush in the antenna opening.



 

10. Apply a small amount of the silicone grease around the outside of the split grommet.
11. Slide the clamping nut down the cable and over the split grommet. Thread it into place on the LevelSender top cover. Reinstall the three screws in the top cover.



 

12. Thread the other end of the cable onto the connection on the external antenna.



 

13. Use the mounting bracket on the antenna and two stainless steel worm gear clamps to secure the external antenna to a pole/wall, or installation of your choosing,
