3.0 SDI-12 Wiring Setup and Installation

3.1 SDI-12 Wiring Setup

  1. Be sure that an WLTS is properly connected to the Communication/Vented Cable (see Section 1.4.1).
  2. Turn off the power to the SDI-12 recorder and/or the SDI-12 network.
  3. Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connection of the Communication/Vented Cable to the SDI-12 recorder, including external power (12V).
  4. Turn on power to the SDI-12 recorder and/or the SDI-12 network such that power is applied to the Protocol Connector Cable.
