This quick animation walks you through how the Solinst 122 Interface Meter works and shows you which signals indicate water detection vs DNAPL and LNAPL product layer detection.
Product (Non-conductive liquid), such as LNAPL or DNAPL layers, is indicated using the Solinst 122 Interface Meter by a steady light and tone. When water (conductive liquid) is detected by the Solinst Interface Meter, an intermittent light and tone is used. In order for the Interface Meter to detect liquid, the conductivity of the water must be greater than 20 µS/cm.
