Note:
You can start with the sample line submerged. A steady stream of bubbles and then water discharge indicates sufficient pressure is being used.
Double Valve Pumps – Drive Time
- Place the sample line into an empty collection container
- Push the Manual Control Button on the Electronic Control Unit
- Count the seconds until the water stops discharging from the sample line
- Your Drive Time is %40 of this count (i.e. the full count is the amount of time is takes to evacuate the entire pump system of water, using drive gas. %40 of that count means the drive gas will not enter the pump.)
Double Valve Pumps – Vent Time
- Start with 2 to 4 times the Drive Time
- Vent Time increases with deeper submergence and slower well recharge
